  17. Just after posting the article a friend of mine came in and he found
  18. the unmarked switch on the upper main board near the display board and
  19. under a bundle of wires.

  21. 1: remove the top cover
  22. 2: locate the small black switch that is located on the edge of the
  23.    big horizontal board near the back of the main tuning dial.  The switch
  24.    was under a bundle of wires.  You do not need to remove the metal cover
  25.    from the board.
  26. 3: flip the switch.
  27. 4: replace the top cover.
